And, I want to be pregnant...
and I want to blog about my pregnancy...
and compare the size of my growing baby to various fruits and vegetables...
and write love letters to my unborn...
and deliver a healthy baby...
and take pictures of my baby and my husband asleep together on the couch...
And I want to get what I want when I want it.
But nobody gets that.
This verse encouraged me in a similar wait... Perhaps it's not overly encouraging, but it gave my heart peace when I wanted to worry.

ReplyDeleteI hope you get what you want soon. But until then, enjoy the days with just the two of you. Soon they will take your future wee one's place in your daydreams. Many nights, Eric and I lie in bed and say, "Remember when we could just up and go to a movie at 10pm?" (I'd be lying if I sometimes don't still catch myself suggesting we do something spontaneous like that and it's only as the words are at the tip of my tongue that I remember that I have a kid sleeping in the other room!) Those were the days. Not to diminish your longing for children - I totally feel you there. I'm just saying, enjoy the brilliance of God's timing. There are things about these days that are precious and fleeting. Kind of like college. Just saying.
