10 Things

1.  My husband turns 40 in one week and one day.

2.  I hope I never again think it's a good idea to rope swing into a lake.  I have now come to grips with the fact that I lack the upper body strength.

3.  I hate high heels...

4.  And nail polish (on me, not on other people).

5.  We planted a garden based on THIS book.

6.  I think Kansas is absolutely beautiful.

7.  I get the giggles when I see little old ladies at the grocery store, scooting up to the check out lane with their arms full of cinnamon rolls and other sweet treats.

8.  My sugar fast is over on Sunday.  It hasn't been perfect, but it's been good.

9.  I'm looking forward to chocolate chip cookies.

10.  And cinnamon rolls and other sweet treats.

LOL

I was looking back through some pictures on Facebook and came across this one.

It makes me LOL!

It's a picture of us leaving our wedding.  We're getting ready to run through the rice and hop in our get-away car, which was covered in toilet paper and lipstick.

My hair, face and the fact that I'm carrying a big red Dillon's grocery bag kind of gives me the chuckles.

That is, until I look over at Mr. T.  That's when I full on Laugh Out Loud!  There's something about the way his body looks in this picture and his big cheesy grin...it's too much!

Plus, I look like I'm fixin' to head into a dead sprint and he's sort of lolly-gagging along.  Such is life.  We look like this every time we run together ("together" being a misnomer, of sorts).

Ahhh, memories.  We were so young back then.  A week from today, we will be celebrating our 10 month Anniversary.  Where has the time gone!?!

St. Patty's Day

A couple weekends ago, we had a "Weekend of Nothing".  It happened to fall on St. Patty's Day, which I refer to as MY day.  Mostly because it reflects my name and because it falls on the 17th (my favorite number) and because I love green.

In order to celebrate properly, Mr. T made this banner and had it hanging up, ready for me to admire when I got out of bed.

There's a little sign in the middle that says, "Kiss Me, I'm Patty!"
Seems like a pretty logical reason to kiss someone.
